In 2002, Casita Travel started looking for special untouched holiday spots on the island of Tenerife. And that wasn’t difficult at all. All over the island you can find beautiful estates by the sea with small-scale tourism. Upon arrival, you will often receive a warm welcome from the owners themselves. Spending your holiday on a banana plantation
Casita Travel has unique holiday homes all over the island of Tenerife. For example, estate Desino, in unique style on a quiet banana plantation. Child-friendly, modern and away from the crowds. In the south, we have been working with Silvia of Estate Desino for years. With her stylist sister, she has beautifully refurbished the old staff cottages into special holiday homes. Wonderfully peaceful in green surroundings with spacious sunny terraces and furnished in a delightful vintage style with a dash of Ibiza. Less than a 10-minute drive away, you find a pleasantly cozy beach with a hip bar and sun loungers. The Desino estate consists of 8 holiday homes, hidden away on the banana plantation. Some have a private pool. And all are tastefully decorated. Our favourite is Casa Desino II because of its enclosed garden and large sunny terrace with shade cloth. Perfect for families with (small) children.
