In summer, a shuttle bus will take you up the steep slope.

Playa de la Granadella

El Peñón de Ifach

The 332-meter-high limestone rock is one of the region’s most remarkable sights and towers over Calpe. Rare plants and around 300 different animal species make a visit to the rock an exciting adventure. You can start the hike to the top from the harbor. Once at the top, you’ll enjoy an incredible view of the Costa Blanca coastline, the Mediterranean Sea, and on clear days, even Ibiza.
Make sure to wear sturdy shoes, bring plenty of water, and apply sunscreen before the climb.

The Montgó is also known as the “sleeping elephant.” If you look closely from the Jávea side, you can see the head with its eye and trunk. Do you see it as well? The nature park offers many different hiking trails for active and adventurous tourists. You can even hike to the “eye of the elephant.”

This ancient cave is located at the foot of the beautiful Montgó Natural Park (Dénia), where seawater flows into the cave. It’s a fantastic spot for kayaking and snorkeling. However, the cave is not easily accessible; you’ll need to take a challenging hike or reach it via the water with a kayak. Don’t forget to book in advance during the high season (June 15 – September 30) through the Montgó Natural Park’s online page.
