To the beach with your entire family without worries
There is no shortage of nature and culture in Gran Canaria. The beautiful island is definitely worth a visit and there is always something to do. Gran Canaria has a volcanic origin, resulting in few natural sandy beaches, but there are many beautiful man-made ones. In this blog we would like to highlight two great child friendly beaches, so you can enjoy a carefree day with your family!
Playa de Amadores
If you want to enjoy a day in the sun yourself, but also want to let the children play, Playa de Amadores is perfect for you. This unique beach is located in the south-west of Gran Canaria. With a great sand beach and clear blue water, it is the ideal place to spend your day; just sit back and relax. The beach is surrounded by rocks, which means you are shielded from the wind and high waves. In the bay of Amadores, you find a large jumping park (entrance is charged), where children can play around to their heart’s content. The entire beach is non-smoking and there’s no music played.

Playa de Mogán
The beautiful sandy beach of Puerto de Mogán is located on the south coast of Gran Canaria. This lovely golden sand beach is perfect for families with children. The beach has a gently sloping seabed and has a play area for children. Puerto de Mogán offers various water sports activities. Love to go snorkeling? Then Playa de Mogán is highly recommendable.
