It can be a challenge to go on vacation when you have mobility problems. We would like to help you a little bit with tips for ground floor vacation homes in Spain.

We have several vacation homes on the Costa Blanca with only a few steps from the outside to the inside or a few thresholds. You can do well here with a walker, crutches or folding wheelchair. Below is a selection of our range of houses suitable for reduced mobility.

Villa Josa in Moraira. This beautiful house is suitable for a total of eight persons and is entirely on the ground floor. There are a few steps from the parking lot to the terrace and a high threshold to enter.

Villa Alexandra in Benissa, a cozy and completely ground floor house, suitable for up to four people. There are three steps to access the terrace and the house itself.

Villa Alegria in Benissa. A nice and cozy house for up to six people. The house is all on one level. From the terrace to the inside there is a slightly higher threshold and also the shower has a small threshold.

Casa la Luz in Javea. A heavenly house in a nice spot, centrally located between Javea and Moraira. The villa is on one level and is also spacious. There is a threshold to enter.

Apartment Bahia Blanca in Altea. This beautiful apartment with even more beautiful views can accommodate six people. The apartment is ground floor and there is a small threshold to the spacious balcony. Bahia Blanca is located on the second floor and has an elevator.

Our houses are not adapted for wheelchair users, but because these houses are ground floor and have few thresholds/steps in and around the house, they are still suitable for our less mobile guests. For specific questions about accessibility, you may always contact us.

We also work together with Marcel and Jitty Stuij of Costa Mobility Services, they have a wide range of aids that will take care of you during your stay in one of our beautiful houses. Think for example of a shower and toilet chair, a foldable mobility scooter or crutches. You reserve the care aids directly with Costa Mobility Services. This can be done through their website or by phone at +34 744 723 248. Even if the desired aids are not listed on the website, feel free to contact Costa Mobility Services.

We hope this blog has helped you with your search for ground floor homes for people who are less mobile.
