This detached villa with private pool has unique panoramic views. Villa Fundana is just new and has a modern and stylish interior. A lovely large terrace surrounds the private pool. There is also a dedicated barbecue area. Here you will experience complete privacy. The ideal place to unwind. Villa Fundana is surrounded by age-old olive trees, bougainvillea and almond trees.
Palaiokastritsa with its azure bays and small pebble beaches is located 4 km away. Explore the beautiful paradises near Palaiokastritsa by boat. Also visit the traditional village of Liapades a few km away. This mountain village is hidden in the greenery. Liapades' beach is also beautiful and from the terraces of the taverns you have a great view over the bay. Take a rental car to the village of Lakones, and stop at Bella Vista or Golden Fox. From both locations, you have great views of the two bays and the peninsula of Palaiokastritsa. At Golden Fox, you can also use the swimming pool. Café Eftichis on the village square is nice for a drink. Corfu town with beautiful buildings and a fantastic atmosphere is a short half-hour drive away.
LAYOUT VILLA FUNDANA
Villa Fundana is entirely on the ground floor. When you open the front door, you enter a wonderfully large living room with plenty of light, a spacious sofa, satellite TV and dining area. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped. The large glass doors, all fitted with mosquito nets, give access to the outdoor terrace with an outdoor dining area. Through the hallway you reach the three bedrooms. The master bedroom (double bed) has an ensuite bathroom with shower, toilet and double washbasin. There is another bedroom with double bed and a bedroom with two single beds. In addition, there are two bathrooms with shower, toilet and sink. There is enough space to add two extra beds for children. Beach towels are also provided. Daily cleaning is possible if required. There is wifi (ADSL) and air conditioning throughout the villa. All windows have full mosquito netting protection.
THE PRIVATE OUTDOORS OF VILLA FUNDANA
Surrounding the private pool (28 m2), surrounded by sunbeds and a parasol, is a lovely large terrace (240 m2). There is a generous dining area and a nice barbecue area. From your terrace you have panoramic views of the mountains and the northern part of Corfu. Villa Fundana is completely private. Further up the estate you will see a 17th-century manor house. A historical monument with unique architecture. This country house with several suites and studios belongs to the same owners. The hospitable owners will be happy to show you the olive press museum. Nearby is a path leading to the monastery of Sant Onoufrios and the lake. Ideal for a romantic walk.
