Pure enjoyment in Villa Melodie! This villa has breathtaking panoramic views of the sea and mountains. The lovely private pool is a real plus, especially with the view there. This new and modern villa guarantees an unforgettable vacation. Villa Melodie has several nice lounge and seating areas. All with modern comfort.
Located above Plaka, a small fisherman's village close to Elounda. You will find many nice taverna's and fish restaurants here. You can cath a boat to the island Spinalonga. On both sides of the village are sand- and pebble beaches. Plaka is beloved village on Crete.

Villa Melodie consists of 3 floors. On the ground floor is the living room with nice seating area, fireplace, sattelite television and open kitchen. All necessities are provided, such as an oven, dishwasher, coffee maker and toaster. There is a nice dining area and a nice sitting area overlooking the garden. Here you will find the second bathroom, with shower, sink and toilet. On the first floor you will find 2 more bedrooms, both with a double bed, air conditioning and access to the balcony. On this floor you can find the third bathroom, also with shower, sink and toilet. The basement floor has a small living room with piano. Here is a bedroom with double bed and airconditioning. The bathroom on this floor has a shower, toilet and sink. The villa has a washingmachine and WiFi.
OUTSIDE AT VILLA MELODIE
The fine outdoor living at Villa Melodie is a real advantage. The panoramic view from the terrace over the sea is wonderful. There is also a small balcony where you can enjoy sitting when you want to isolate yourself from the rest. The private pool is surrounded by luxurious sunbeds. There is also a barbecue and outsidse shower. The sunsets from here are magnificent.

The only thing I would highlight is that as property is newly built the driveway leading up to the property is narrow and loose stone rather than tarmac so for ease we parked at the bottom of the hill/driveway which was no bother.

Sehr ruhig oberhalb von Plaka gelegen mit herrlicher Aussicht aufs Meer. Alles sehr sauber und neuwertig und gepflegt. Wenn man möchte kann man sich sehr gut selbst versorgen, an Küchenutensilien ist alles vorhanden inkl Gewürze und Öl. 2 verschiedensee more

Zugang zum Haus mittels Code für Schlüsselbox, bei Abreise wird dieser wieder dort deponiert. Von der Strasse gibt es Hinweisschilder zum Haus, ein schmaler Weg führt zum Haus. Ein kleineres Auto kann direkt unterhalb vom Haus geparkt werden, sonst ca 50 m weiter unten möglich. Samstags ist Markt in Elounda, dort kann man sich gut mit Obst, Gemüse, Nüssen, Olivenöl und Honig versorgen. Brot und Kuchen sowie Snacks und Eis haben wir aus der Elounda Bakery geholt. Sonst hat es kleinere Supermärkte in Elounda wo man alles bekommt. Für ein Essen ab des Mainstream können wir die Ston Prodromo Taverne in Kastelli empfehlen, welche 15 min entfernt auf dem Berg liegt. - Juliane |

Zeer rustig gelegen boven Plaka met een prachtig uitzicht op de zee. Alles is zeer schoon en goed onderhouden. Als je wilt kun je heel goed voor jezelf zorgen. Keukengerei is allemaal aanwezig, ook kruiden en olie. 2 verschillende koffiemachines - filter en Nespresso.
Toegang tot het huis door code voor sleutelkastje, bij vertrek wordt het daar weer neergelegd. Vanaf de weg staan borden naar het huis, een smal pad leidt naar het huis. Een kleinere auto kan direct onder het huis geparkeerd worden, anders ongeveer 50 m verder naar beneden. Op zaterdag is er een markt in Elounda, waar je fruit, groenten, noten, olijfolie en honing kunt kopen. Wij haalden brood en gebak en snacks en ijs bij de bakkerij van Elounda. Verder zijn er kleinere supermarkten in Elounda waar je alles kunt krijgen. Voor een maaltijd weg van de massa kunnen we de Ston Prodromo Taverna in Kastelli aanbevelen, die 15 minuten verderop op de berg ligt. - Juliane |
