VILLA KLIO IN SFINARI
What a wonderful place! You will lack for nothing in this luxury villa with private pool in Crete. Ideal if you want to relax and enjoy the tranquility and unspoiled nature. Back in the Netherlands you will often think back with nostalgia to the beautiful landscape, the breathtaking sunsets from your terrace and the different colors of blue of the sea in the lagoons near the villa.
All facilities are available including a private pool with sun beds. In the morning you then enjoy breakfast on the balcony with a beautiful view of the sea. The Greek family that owns several villas in Sfinari is proud of their property and very committed to their guests. It will therefore not surprise you that the villa is well maintained. Everything is in perfect condition and very clean.
Nearby is also Villa Antonia; nice to rent both villas if you travel with a large group.
LAYOUT VILLA KLIO
On the first floor is the cozy living room with comfortable sofas and a fireplace. The open kitchen is sort of separated from the cozy living area by an arch. The kitchen is perfect for preparing elaborate meals and is fully equipped. Among other things, we mention the presence of four induction hobs, microwave, oven, coffee maker, kettle, refrigerator, freezer and dishwasher.
On the same level there is also a toilet and a bathroom with shower and washing machine. There is also wifi available in Villa Klio. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms. One of them has two single beds. The other is equipped with a double bed, this room has a balcony with beautiful sea views. Also on this floor is the second bathroom with toilet, shower, bathtub and whirlpool.
OUTDOOR LIFE VILLA KLIO
The villa has a spacious veranda with comfortable furniture. A few steps lead down to the lawn with private pool and sunbeds.
The villa is located in the village of Sfinari, a small and traditional village draped in a beautiful bay at the foot of Mount Koutrouli. The village has 150 permanent residents who are engaged in olive growing, cattle breeding, fishing and beekeeping. This is the reason why the dishes in the local taverns taste so good; they only use home grown, local products. Sfinari is located 57 km west of Chania and the airport. In the village there are mini markets and several taverns. Kissamos, 16 km from the villa, has larger supermarkets, banks and ATMs.

We experienced the contact with Casita Travel as friendly and efficient. For us it was the second time booking with Casita Travel. We were kindly welcomed at the villa, there was even cooked for us and fruit etc. present. The town of Sfinari is small and contains only a single store for daily necessities, with very friendly people though. For more entertainment and going out, this is not a good place. What we liked: The tranquility, the beautiful location of and home itself. The friendliness of the villagers, the feeling of being Greek. Beautiful weather, and swimming pool. Beautiful surroundings, where you definitely need a car to explore the area, otherwise it is a bit isolated. For 1 week to 10 days it is fine, but for longer it is not ideal, too quiet, little entertainment. Car is definitely recommended. We recommend to be brought to the location, we have good experience with Gettransfer.com. As for car rental we had a good experience with kissamosrentacar.com, 430 € type A (kia picanto oid) for a week incl. everything, full insurance, no additional costs. New car and friendly people. Car is brought to location and picked up again.

This is a really super villa with absolutely wonderful views of Sfinari beach.
We arrived late at night after a drive from Chania, and were welcomed by a clean and very well equipped property. All areas were scrupulously clean. The owner left a wonderful meal ready for us, as well as the basics in the welcome pack. It was a thoughtful and very welcome touch that really got our holiday off to a good start, really appreciated. Outside, a private patio features a large pool, sunloungers, table and chairs and a large charcoal barbecue. It’s extremely private, west facing and obviously gives unbelievable views of the beach and the wonderful sunsets. Locally, sfinari is a quiet village, but the village and beach is easy walking distance from the villa. At the southern end of the beach, there are three tavernas, we enjoyed eating at them and also swimming on the beach. It is rather rocky, so shoes are a necessity. The owner visited the day after we arrived, checked everything was okay, gave us some directions and recommendations. Really, to summarise, this is a super property for a family looking for a peaceful holiday with easy access to local beaches and larger towns. - family |

We zijn vriendelijk ontvangen bij de villa, er was zelfs lekker gekookt en fruit e.d. aanwezig. De plaats Sfinari is klein en bevat maar een enkele winkel voor de dagelijkse benodigdheden, met wel heel vriendelijke mensen. Voor meer vertier en uitgaan is dit geen goede plek. Wat we leuk vonden: De rust, de prachtige lokatie van en de woning. De vriendelijkheid van de dorpsbewoners, het gevoel dat je Griek bent. Prachtige weer, en zwembad. Prachtige omgeving, waar je zeker een auto nodig hebt om de omgeving te verkennen, ander ligt het wel wat geisoleerd. Voor 1 week tot 10 dagen is het prima, maar voor langer is het niet ideaal, te rustig, weinig vertier. Auto is zeker aan te raden. Aanrader is om je te laten brengen naar de locatie, wij hebben goede ervaring met Gettransfer.com. Wat betreft autohuur hebben wij een goede ervaring met kissamosrentacar.com, 430 € type A (kia picanto oid) voor een week incl. alles, full insurance, geen bijkomende kosten. Nieuwe auto en vriendelijke mensen. Auto wordt naar locatie gebracht en weer opgehaald.

Dit is echt een supervilla met absoluut prachtig uitzicht op het strand van Sfinari.
We kwamen 's avonds laat aan na een rit vanuit Chania en werden verwelkomd door een schoon en zeer goed uitgerust huis. Alle ruimtes waren schoon. De eigenaar had een heerlijke maaltijd voor ons klaarstaan, evenals de basics in het welkomstpakket. Het was een attente en zeer welkome extra, zeer op prijs gesteld. Buiten is er een privépatio met een groot zwembad, ligstoelen, een tafel en stoelen en een grote houtskoolbarbecue. Het is extreem privé, op het westen gericht en biedt natuurlijk een ongelooflijk uitzicht op het strand en de prachtige zonsondergangen. Lokaal is sfinari een rustig dorp, maar het dorp en het strand liggen op loopafstand van de villa. Aan de zuidkant van het strand zijn er drie taverna's, we hebben ervan genoten om bij hen te eten en ook om op het strand te zwemmen. Het is nogal rotsachtig, dus schoenen zijn een noodzaak. De eigenaar bezocht de dag nadat we aankwamen, controleerde of alles in orde was, gaf ons enkele aanwijzingen en aanbevelingen. Kortom, dit is een super accommodatie voor een gezin dat op zoek is naar een rustige vakantie met gemakkelijke toegang tot de plaatselijke stranden en grotere steden. - familie |
