Villa Aretha

Everything is consistent with the description and photos. The location, pool and garden are beautiful and well maintained. The covered terrace is large and very comfortable. There is a very nice beach nearby, taverns. The house is nicely furnished, a few small things can be improved, especially in the bathrooms. The stay was very good indeed. - Dorota

My wife and I have enjoyed two weeks in Villa Aretha, along with another couple of friends. Overall, we really enjoed the Villa, it has a lovely spacious garden, suitable for outdoor games, and a very good sized swimming pool. The garden is really the selling point of the Villa, it is almost entirely private, the pool is not visible from anywhere, so if you want seclusion, it is a realy great spot. The Villa iself is quite spacious, two of the bedrooms lead directly to the pool, and the main bedroom leads to a seperate barbecue area which catched the evening Sun. Although it didnt bother us, you do have to walk through bedrooms to get to these areas. The twin and smaller Double room share a bathroom at tone end of the property, the shower is a handheld old fashioned corner pedestal with a shower curtain, The other bathroom has a full shower cabinet. It is very nice Villa, dated in places, if your planning eatling in during your holiday, the equipment is quite basic, particularly if there is a few of you staying. The Villa is located to the East of Acharavi, only a minute walk from the beach, and there are a few Taverns with good Menus within a short walk, but the main shopping and Bar area of the town is 30-40 minutes walk away. we hired Ebikes from S-Bikes in Acharavi and it was perfect, we could cycle in five minutes to town and had the best of both areas. There are quite a few Stray Cats around, they get fed by the neighbours, although we are not Cat Lovers, we shared our Villa with a Cat with half a tail we called Bob, she was a real star and effectively allowed us to share what was plainly her villa. She quickly trained us, and if you do stay here, look after her, she became a great part of our holiday, a very chatty Cat. Finally, take some Mosquito spray to Northern Corfu, the evenings can be bad all around here, but wo ith a good Spray you will be fine. Enjoy the Villa, we would go back again, we loved the Beach, and really Loved Ebiking in the Hills behind, where you really get a sense of old Corfu . - Thomas

Had a beautiful week stay in this incredible villa.. it was clean, so big and spacious! The pool was incredible. The cleaner who visited was just so lovely. I highly recommend this villa! Just a tip though, take mosquito repellent! Cant wait to return! - Tara

Alles komt overeen met de beschrijving en de foto's. De locatie, het zwembad en de tuin zijn mooi en goed onderhouden. Het overdekte terras is groot en zeer comfortabel. Er is een zeer mooi strand in de buurt, en ook diverse tavernes. Het huis is mooi ingericht, een paar kleine dingen kunnen worden verbeterd, vooral in de badkamers. Mijn vrouw en ik hebben twee weken genoten in Villa Aretha, samen met een paar andere vrienden. Over het algemeen hebben we echt genoten van de villa, het heeft een mooie ruime tuin, geschikt voor buitenspelen, en een zeer groot zwembad. De tuin is echt het verkooppunt van de villa, het is bijna volledig privé, het zwembad is nergens zichtbaar, dus als je je wilt afzonderen, is het echt een geweldige plek. De villa zelf is vrij ruim, twee van de slaapkamers leiden direct naar het zwembad, en de grootste slaapkamer leidt naar een aparte barbecueplaats die de avondzon vangt. Hoewel het ons niet stoorde, moet je door de slaapkamers lopen om bij deze ruimtes te komen. De twin en kleinere tweepersoonskamer delen een badkamer aan het einde van het pand. De andere badkamer heeft een volledige douchecabine. Het is een zeer mooie villa, gedateerd op sommige plaatsen, als u van plan bent te eten tijdens uw vakantie, de uitrusting is vrij eenvoudig, vooral als er een paar van u verblijft. De villa is gelegen in het oosten van Acharavi, op slechts een minuut lopen van het strand, en er zijn een paar tavernes met goede menu's op korte loopafstand, maar de belangrijkste winkels en restaurants zijn 30-40 minuten lopen. we huurden Ebikes van S-Bikes in Acharavi en het was perfect, we konden fietsen in vijf minuten naar de stad. Er lopen nogal wat zwerfkatten rond, die worden gevoerd door de buren, hoewel we geen kattenliefhebbers zijn, deelden we onze villa met een kat met een halve staart die we Bob noemden. Tenslotte, neem wat muggenspray mee naar Noord Corfu, met een goede spray zit je goed. Geniet van de villa, we zouden zo weer teruggaan, we hielden van het strand, en we hielden echt van fietsen in de achterliggende heuvels, waar je echt een gevoel van het oude Corfu krijgt. - Thomas

We hadden een prachtige week in deze ongelooflijke villa.. het was schoon, zo groot en ruim! Het zwembad was ongelooflijk. De schoonmaker die bezocht was gewoon zo mooi. Ik raad deze villa ten zeerste aan! Alleen een tip, neem muggenspray mee! Kan niet wachten om terug te keren! - Tara
