Right in the heart of Jalón, you’ll find Casita Nomado, a charming casa where you can still fully experience authentic Spanish life. The casa has retained its character and charm and is a wonderful place to experience Spanish village life up close.

With its cosy courtyard, modern kitchen and cosy living room, this is a lovely base for a wonderful stay on the Costa Blanca. From the casa, you can stroll straight to charming restaurants, lovely little bars and shops. Settle down on a terrace for a cup of coffee or enjoy a good glass of local wine.

The beautiful Jalón Valley is an ideal destination for cyclists and walkers. From the village, you can explore the green surroundings, with vineyards, hills and authentic Spanish villages. At the same time, the hustle and bustle of the coast is within easy reach.

THE LAYOUT OF CASITA NOMADO

This charming casa sleeps up to 3 people and is spread over two floors. The property has retained its authentic character, with beautiful original features still visible, creating a warm and unique atmosphere.

On the ground floor, you’ll find the modern kitchen and the cosy living room, which is air-conditioned. From the living room, you have access to the charming courtyard garden, a lovely spot to relax and start or end your day under the stars.

The two bedrooms and the bathroom are located on the first floor. One of the bedrooms has its own balcony overlooking the courtyard garden. Both bedrooms are furnished with a double bed (180 x 200 cm). The bathroom features a shower, toilet and washbasin.

The combination of authentic features and modern comforts makes this casa a delightful place to stay.

Please note: The sliding door in the courtyard leads to the owner’s private area. This is not accessible to guests and will not be used during your stay.

SURROUNDINGS

Jalón lies in the heart of the beautiful Jalón Valley and is a lovely base from which to actively explore the surrounding area. The village is officially known by its Valencian name, Xaló, but is also referred to as Jalón in Spanish. From the village, you can explore the varied landscape featuring vineyards, green hills and authentic villages such as Polop.

A popular cycle route is the Vall de Pop Grand Tour, which takes you through Jalón, Alcalalí, Parcent, Senija and Llíber, winding through the valley’s stunning countryside. In Llíber, enjoy some delicious tapas on the terrace of Bar Varetes. Fancy a challenge? Then the famous Coll de Rates is a great climb to add to your route.

In the village, you’ll find VeloSol Cycle Bar, a cosy hotspot for cycling enthusiasts. Here you can enjoy a good coffee or a tasty treat, and it’s also a great place to meet other cyclists.

Walkers can also have a wonderful time here. From Jalón, the SL-CV 119 trail runs via the old Camí Tàrbena towards the Coll de Rates. Along the way, you’ll walk through the Mediterranean landscape with vineyards, almond and olive trees, and enjoy beautiful views over the valley.

Are you a wine lover? Then visit a bodega and sample the finest local wines.

Be sure to pay a visit to the famous market, Rastro de Jalón. Every Saturday, Jalón transforms into a lively market selling second-hand and vintage goods, with a cosy local atmosphere.

For those looking to enjoy the coastal atmosphere, the well-known and lively coastal towns of Moraira and Jávea are just a 30-minute drive away.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
- From July to August, we operate fixed arrival and departure days on Thursdays and Fridays, with a minimum stay of 7 nights.
- During the other months, arrival and departure are permitted on any day of the week, with a minimum stay of 4 nights. However, your booking must follow on from previous or subsequent bookings; otherwise, there must be a gap of at least 4 nights between bookings.
– We recommend hiring a car at this destination.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security deposit of €250 applies to your stay. The security deposit must be paid well in advance of the start of your stay. You will receive a one-off email containing a link to arrange payment of the security deposit via a credit card reservation. No reminder will be sent.

STAYS DURING THE WINTER MONTHS
Casita Nomado is suitable for winter stays. Winter rentals run from 1 November to 31 March. The house is heated by air conditioning. During the winter months, 125 kWh of electricity per week is included; any additional consumption (as recorded by the meter) is charged at €0.40 per kWh. Winter rentals are available for a maximum of 8 weeks between 1 November and 31 March. The winter rates do not include mid-stay cleaning, end-of-stay cleaning, bed linen and towels, heating costs, booking fees, the contingency fund or the SGR guarantee.
